WOMEN WARRIORS NETWORK: A PROGRAM OF EVERYMIND’S SERVING TOGETHER

Cook For Vets attended the Women Warriors Network pilot program inaugural event held at the American Red Cross in Fairfax, VA. The Women Warriors Network, an initiative of EveryMind’s Serving Together program, is a purpose-driven community designed to support female Veterans and Servicewomen transitioning into civilian life. Their vision is to foster a warm and welcoming environment characterized by safety, inclusivity, and empowerment. Through a series of monthly events, the program facilitates meaningful conversations and provides practical tools to enhance the lives of our participants.

Cook For Vets was excited to witness the public launch of the Women Warriors Network. The event featured an art class hosted by the Patriot Art Foundation providing an opportunity for participants to indulge their creative sides through self-expression. This focus on creativity is intended to harness the transformative power of art.

Aimee Stoddard, Serving Together’s Program Manager, dedicated several years to bringing this program to life, aiming to enable women warriors to connect, grow, and create at monthly meetings. For more information, feel free to reach out to Aimee at astoddard@every-mind.org.
