Chariots of Honor

On October 7, CFV participated in Loudoun County’s U.S. Navy 250th Birthday Proclamation alongside Chariots Of Honor. This meaningful celebration welcomed active-duty service members, Veterans, military families, and community members who gathered to pay tribute to two and a half centuries of the Navy’s proud legacy of service, sacrifice, and strength.

For Cook For Vets, this moment held special significance. Our President and Founder draws deep personal inspiration from her father’s service in the U.S. Navy—a legacy that helped shape the values, compassion, and mission behind Cook For Vets. To stand alongside others who share that history and pride was profoundly moving.

As attendees joined together in reflection and gratitude, the room filled with a powerful reminder of what connects us: honor, courage, and commitment—values that continue to guide CFV to ensure No Veteran Hungry.

Cook For Vets was grateful to witness and partake in this historic milestone, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chariots of Honor and the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors for hosting such a meaningful tribute!
