Both the ALX Dog Walk and Spring2Action play vital roles in supporting the Alexandria community. ALX Dog Walk promotes community engagement while advocating for sustainability, and Spring2Action provides a platform for local nonprofits to raise funds and awareness. Cook for Vets participated April 20th, in the ALX Dog Walk’s third annual event as part of Alexandria’s Spring2ACTion Nonprofit Village. This event brings furry friends and their owners out for a 2-mile walk while supporting a great cause to promote a plastic-free and sustainable lifestyle, which aligns with Cook For Vets’ commitment to environmental responsibility.
In its fourteenth year, Spring2Action reflects the community’s remarkable spirit of giving. This annual event not only brings citizens and local businesses together but also highlights Alexandria’s commitment to supporting organizations like Cook For Vets in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
